We’ve talked about a phenomenon known as the “Stack Effect” on here before, but essentially what it means for a homeowner is that as warm air rises, cool air from your crawlspace is sucked up into the living areas of your home. The result of this and other factors, means a significant amount of the air that you’re breathing in your home is actually originating from your crawlspace.
