If you live in Grosse Ile, you know that most of the houses are older. We’ve done a lot of projects on Grosse Ile to combat sloping floors from homes that are starting to show their age, especially over crawlspaces. Damage to your home’s floor system will significantly impact the living space above. Many floor systems have inadequate support. To fix the problem area, we used our Correct Force Jacks as our main support. Correct Force Support Jacks are used to level and stabilize existing support beams and floor joists while creating minimal disturbance to the crawlspace and surrounding property. These were placed along new footings containing new steel beams. This was meant to correct old cinder blocks and scrap wood that somebody had attempted to use in the past to support the home
